Under supervision of Ingrid Smith, LCSW
A few of her specialties:
In 2019, I received my Bachelors of Arts in Humans Services from Columbia College. In 2022, I graduated with a Masters of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis (UMSL). I concentrated in Family Practice with an emphasis in Behavioral Health. My professional experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) , Clients’ Advocacy, and Care Coordination has contributed to my transferable skills as a future clinician.
I desire to work with youth. I am interested in providing an evidence and strengths-based approach within supports such as social emotional support groups, and youth development program implementation.
I enjoy spending quality time with my son, writing stories, listening to music, attending church and finding new interests such as candle making.
Features:
During her internship in 2022, Joslyn assisted in creating and developing our open community group, Wellness Conversations. Twice per month interns co-facilitated timely topics, and Joslyn quickly showed her skill in group facilitation as well.
Joslyn has a knack for relatability, warmth and authentic connection. Not only is she a great facilitator, she is developing an expertise for teaching, supporting, and holding her clients accountable with boundary setting.
Currently as an employee, Joslyn invests in continuing to add value as an on-going facilitator of the Wellness Conversations.
